A three-day living history show at Detling Showground in Kent, this event has boasted over 4,000 reenactors in attendance at past iterations with this year's show promising to be even bigger. 

Packed full of reenactment displays from Ancient Greece to World War II and the modern period, Magister Militum are looking forward to bringing a 4th century Roman military presence to this prestigious show demonstrating over 2,000 years of history to a plethora of keen public attendees. 

The arena will be packed daily with combat demonstrations and drill displays from the Viking Age onwards, allowing the public to get close up and personal with action from swords to gunpowder. Detling also boasts one of the largest reenactment battlefields in the business, with displays of modern firearms and cannon through to working historical vehicles roaring around. 

Military Odyssey of course also boasts one of the largest sets of living history displays, with displays of daily life items, crafts and cooking, and the clothing of historical people from the ancient period onwards. 

Finally, several charities are supported by the event, including the Royal British Legion.
